The Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging was created to promote knowledge, understanding and the use of diagnostic imaging by practicing veterinarians.

AAVDI combined ANZCVS (Radiology Chapter) Congress 2020

‘Advanced Thoracic Imaging and Respiratory Medicine’.

AAVDI and the Radiology Chapter of the ANZCVS are very excited to announce our combined educational forum for 2020 to be held Wednesday the 8th of July at The Star Gold Coast, QLD, Australia.

Our speakers include Dr Lynelle Johnson and Dr Rachel Pollard, both esteemed faculty at the University of California, Davis.

Lynelle is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of California, Davis. Her primary research and clinical interest areas include cardiorespiratory physiology, medicine and pathophysiology. Lynelle is a world-renowned expert in the field of veterinary respiratory medicine.

Rachel is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology and is a Professor of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Davis. Rachel is renowned for her publications and research involving dynamic fluoroscopic evaluation of the upper gastrointestinal and respiratory tract.

Robert Nicoll has agreed to serve as one of the editors for the journal of the American College of Veterinary Radiology as a representative member of AAVDI.


 

 

The 2020 ACVR Annual Scientific Meeting will be held October 21-24 at the Silver Legacy Hotel, Reno NV. The EAVDI Meeting will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 16-19th of September, 2020.
