Become a Member

Any suitably qualified veterinarian with an interest in diagnostic imaging is encouraged to join AAVDI, particulary those who intend to sit Membership examinations in Radiology, Medicine or Surgery, or who are pursuing further training in any specialty field.

Annual membership fees are $55 (incl. GST) and entitle the member to a range of benefits, outlined below.

 

The Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging welcomes Australian and International Members with an interest in veterinary imaging. 

Benefits of Membership

Preferred-Rate Conference Registration

Receive member-only reduced-rate registrations for conferences and workshops organised by AAVDI. These events are typically held twice-yearly, and provide a fantastic opportunity for imaging-related continued education and networking. 

Complementary IVRA Membership

Through AAVDI, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the International Veterinary Radiology Association, who hold meetings every three years. The next meeting is set for June 2023 in Dublin, Ireland.

Position Statements

Polycystic Kidney Disease is an inherited disorder of cats and dogs. To standardise the ultrasonographic examination and reporting of cats and dogs that are being surveyed for this condition, AAVDI has developed position a statement for cats  and dogs [Bull Terriers], and a  Reporting Form,  which can be downloaded for the use of members.

Members have access to selected past conference proceedings and lecture videos.

Become part of an active network of veterinarians with an interest in diagnostic imaging. Memebers have access to a restricted Facebook group where case studies, imaging best practice protocols, and relevant industry discussions take place.
